Rome Center for Architecture and the Humanities
The Center is a joint effort of the School of Architecture and the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. It offers Fulbright students the opportunity to live and study in the heart of Rome for one semester, for up to 15 hours of credit. Courses are taught in English, primarily by University of Arkansas faculty. In fall 2008, the Fulbright professor will be William Quinn (English); in spring 2009, Chiam Goodman-Strauss (Mathematics). For its combination of architecture, art, history, and cuisine, there is no city like Rome. Our program is serious academically, and encourages students to learn Italian, experience the city fully, and explore Italy and Europe.
